After experiencing an exhibition of sculptures through touch, it was time for the paricipants to mould clay and create their own sculptures.

The workshop were held in the scenery of an exhibition of works from the collection of the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko. Three days earlier the blind and visually impaired participants had had the opportunity to experience the exhibition through the use of their tactile skills. The visitors were accompanied by the gallery staff who described the works and the allowed them to touch some of the sculptures.
The participants, who were mostly acquainted with the properties and practical applications of clay, proceeded to mould it into desired shapes. They created reliefs and sculptures showing human faces and  figures and animals, as well as items of applied art including crockery, house shaped tea light holders and other decorative forms.

Host: Małgorzata Krzempek, artistic educator, visual artist.
