Sculpture workshops for children and young adults: tactile sensation, modelling, playing with texture.

Our sculpture workshops for children and adolescents are set against the background of current exhibitions.

The participants learn different ways of shaping raw materials, while engaging in spatial modelling and playing with textures. They examine materials through touch and mould them into desired shapes.
Mindful of the young age of the participants, the instructors offer workshops on a variety of sculptural forms, such as low or high relief or full sculpture. Participants learn about the properties, applications and methods of processing of clay, ceramics and decorative glass.

Our workshops are addressed to two age groups:

Group 1: 7- to 11-year-olds.
Children develop manual skills and creative potential. Learning through play constitutes a rich source of formative experience.

Group 2: 12- to 16-year-olds.
Adolescents develop their artistic abilities and sensitivity, as well as learning patience and planning skills. Our activities are a truly relaxing experience.

The workshops were organized in Galeria Bielska BWA during the exhibition Artistry IV which was organised by the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko from 16 January and 17 February, 2019.
